Title: DONOR RELATIONS MANAGER/EVENTS
Department: College Development
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree and two years related work experience required. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, successful candidates must have seven years of proven success in similar fund development/leadership role(s). Successful results of a criminal background check are required. Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated success with donor engagement and successful large scale events hosting over 200 attendees. Duties: The Donor Relations Manager/Events position is a full-time professional/managerial position. The Donor Relations Manager/Events will develop and execute effective fundraising and engagement events that create meaningful relationships with internal and external donors and supporters who wish to contribute to the success of Pensacola State College. The Donor Relations Manager/Events is responsible for all events and sponsorships of events conducted by the Foundation that raise funds or engagement to support the college (academic, athletic, faculty, staff, student, and facility funding needs). These events include (but are not limited to) the Garde Manger, Holiday Experience, Pirate Experience, Quail Hunt, Day of Clays, Big Break, Faculty and Staff Annual Luncheon, Athletics Breakfast Fundraiser Events, other special events. This position requires availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, holidays, and limited travel. Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 (Depending on the qualifications, the salary is negotiable. However, the college does not generally hire at the top of the range.)
